Sales Policy

Birds Eye View Farm’s Sale Policy

Reservations and Payments
As kids are born, they will be added to the For Sale page. Once a kid is selected a non-refundable deposit of $100 of the kid's purchase price is required.
If the deposit is not received the kid will be offered to the next person who is interested.
Deposits can be made by cash, PayPal, or Venmo. NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted, so please don't ask. Once the deposit is submitted, it is non-refundable (unless the animal becomes unavailable due to our decision, or the animal is found unsound as discussed in the health guarantee).
Final payment must be made either prior to or at pick up by cash, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo or certified check only. If using PayPal, please add 3% fee (unless using the family and friend option, then omit fee)
We reserve the right to retain any animal on our farm.

Pick Up Date
Weaned kids will be ready for pick up between 8 to 12 weeks after their birth. We will set up a pickup date with you prior to this time. Reserved kids are expected to be picked up within 7 days of this date. If the reserved kid is not picked up within 14 days after the specified pick update, the prospective buyer relinquishes any deposit paid, and any ownership rights to the kid (kids).
Kids will then become the property of Birds Eye View Farm and will go back up for sale.
If purchasing a registered Nigerian Dwarf kid, they will have both an ADGA/AGS Registration application when they leave. Fees associated with the transfer into your name are your responsibility.
If purchasing a registered Pygmy kid, they will have a NPGA registration application when they leave. Fees associated with the transfer into your name are your responsibility.
Kids will have up to date CD/T vaccination, hooves trimmed, and registered kids will be tattooed before leaving. All kids will be dis-budded (unless they are polled), between 2 days and 3 weeks of age.
We do not guarantee against scurs.

Health Guarantee
Kids are healthy at the time they leave our property. I cannot guarantee the health of the animal once it leaves our property. Since, I can no longer control the animal’s environment or management once they leave my care,
I assume no responsibility.

For New Goat Owners
Please research all you can on goat care.
Find a veterinarian that treats goats prior to ownership. I will always be available for questions and support, but things occur where you may need a vet. And, if you have one beforehand it is much better for you and your goat.
